Hi! I just found this forum! Its nice to see others in Jacksonville with the same interests. It was pretty discouraging to see that all of the other posts are so old!

I have been to the store in 5-points. I liked it. I am pretty sure when I went they had just opened and were still building their inventory. That was about two months ago though!

I have been to a store in Orlando, but I am not sure if it is the same one you are talking about. The one I went to was awful. They were not designer pieces (or at least not all of them), and the stuff they had was very over priced.

If you are not looking looking for all designer pieces there is a store called Moonstruck off of Phillips that sometimes has good stuff.

Happy hunting!

What kind of things does Moonstruck have?

If by designer, you mean the great names of the mid-20th century, such as Eames, Nelson, etc, then yes, that is what I am interested in, either the new pieces by Hermann Miller or Knoll, very good quality reproductions or original old pieces. but I am also interested in affordable new design in keeping with the philosophy of these older designers.

Moonstruck have their own website http://www.moonstruckfurniture.com/.

I'm a mid-mod fan and have never seen any "brand" midcentury pieces in Jax. When we'll be furnishing our home, I'm going to order online. There are tons of good reproductions available at very good prices - plus free shipping and no tax.

I think there simply isn't enough interest in modern design in Jax.

Hello All,

I am the owner of nestliving, the new design studio in five points. Alot of my product has not yet been available in Jacksonville, so I hope it refreshes. My online store is www.nest-living.com. Pop in sometime.

Cheers,

Shaan
