architectural pottery source

Posted by bryan cantley at July 22. 2006

Hi-
i'm trying to locate planters that are similar to the architectural pottery ones with the single leg, as seen bellow.

they do not show the stand on their website.

i'd prefer used, or knock-offs, as i cannot justify several hundred dollars for a planter of that size...

any help would be appreciated...

I'd look locally for a potter who can custom make those for you. They wouldn't even have to be thrown, they could be made on a with slabs, using a lampshade pattern, and putting a little hole in the bottom piece. I think that most potters would find this project to be pretty easy.
