I have seen this chair in the UK a couple of times, but no information was ever given.

I've got nothing... From the construction, and design I would guess it is from the '60s. Like I said, i have only seen it on UK websites so I would have to assume the design originated there. It is very similar to the kind of UK designs that were popular in the 60's and 70's from the likes of William Plunkett, Merrow Associates, and Peiff.
I doubt it is from any of those designers though.
I should have bought the first versions the first time I saw them, I didnt realize that they would be so elusive...
A lesson learned, I guess.

That site is more international and is more closely associated with furniture enthusiasts.
