Modern/Industrial Style Heat Registers?Posted by Hugh Kim at September 25. 2006
I have been googling for some clean, simple, industrial/commercial looking METAL floor heat registers (vent covers), but surprisingly haven't found any site that offers what I had in mind. Anyone got some suggestions as to where I could start looking? I live in Seattle and I wonder if there were any places around here that would sell such things. I'm planning to install natural bamboo floors in my house and I just don't want the Home Depot-run-of-the-mill heat registers. Thanks.

I know you were looking for metal. I just purchased a new house with these great walnut floors and all the registers were made out of walnut as well--so they're just part of the floor and don't pop out.
That said, I like some of the other choices popping up for you.

For some reason, I really like this register, even though it's not exactly modern. Or is it? Not sure what to think... If nothing else, it has two big things going for it: 1) Very Cheap. 2) Non-beveled edges.
By the way, the URL is: http://www.atouchofbrass.com .
