Does anyone know how much those commercial storefront doors go for? I assume they're in the thousands, too???

That BC Door is very cool. I called them for a quote, and they told me ~$3400 for a 3'6 x 8' pre-hung door in knotty alder. Plus $350 shipping to northern California. Kind of pricy. They also told me that the wood species doesn't affect the price that much.

I also love those Stegbar doors in the link posted earlier in the thread. Looks like that's an Australian company though, so I'm not sure how I'd get one here.

We may end up going with a Simpson door. They're pretty reasonable price-wise. I like their 2055 model:



They say they can do it with frosted glass inserts instead of the wood panels. Still waiting on a price.
