If you're in DC, there's a place on 1528 U street called Millenium Decorative Arts which specializes in mid-centry furniture at really outstanding prices. They had a beat up Barcelona for $250, lots of Eames cahirs, Mies stuff, etc. also, another place around the corner on 14th called Rough and Ready, which typically has a lot of neat stuff if you're willing to dig. I don't think either one does any e-business.

I use this site
www.listpic.com (you'll need to pick the city near you from the list to the right)
to browse Craigslist in my area within minutes. I just type in the word "modern" in the the search field for For Sale... and then off I go through all the thumbnails.. Couldn't manage without that site.
Have fun!

Hi.
My friend why do you want to waste your time looking for a furniture store. Try online furniture sites. They have catalog, prices, every kind of furniture. So just scroll them , and enjoy !!

Second hand wooden furniture is the favored option for return on effort and investment. Often that special piece can take a little elbow effort and you then have an important and often expensive piece of furniture that was originally covered in layers of paint.

I live in Sydney and trust me when I say that second furniture can be hard to find. These days, there are top quality online furniture shops that offer good prices. By buying in bulk, you might even ask for a discount.

I think you can find plenty of second furniture on Amazon or Craigslist. Beware though, some of them might be really old and damaged. When buying second hand furniture, it is always wise to screen thoroughly for nasty smells or stains or broken parts.
