Hi, I've just come across this table, which is Italian designer Gaetano Pesce's latest projects for interior design make Cassina (well, you'll see from the picture why I mentioned Italy lovers). Here's where I've read about it in the fisrt place: http://ilovemyloft.blogspot.com/2010/07/cassina-sessantuna-tavolo-italia-2011.html

Why do some people think that furniture with a printed flag of a country is beautiful? don't they realize that this is a pretty insult to their flags. net curtain Jardinieres

Hi, it is not an insult to the 'flag' or to the country - all the contrary, actually. The project was started as a way to commemorate Italy's 150th unification anniversary, a series of 61 unique tables which depict the micro and macro regions that used to form Italy up until 1861. Thus, it's a celebration, not a vulgarisation!
