Newly aquired Eames Fiberglass Armchair?

Hi, I am new here and was wondering how to tell if my chair is an original Eames or not. I recently received it as a gift and there is no label on it. It looks identical to others I have found online. On the bottom of the chair it has 2 imprints. One is a logo that appears to be Herman Miller. It does not say "Herman Miller" but just has the "U"-shaped logo. The second imprint is in the middle of the chair underneath that is 2 triangles overlapping. Again, there are no words or names. Can anyone tell me if these are characteristics of an original Eames Fiberglass Armchair? Everything else about the appearance/construction seems to match up. The base is not chrome, but a very aged black metal material. I'm not sure what it is. The color of the chair is a cream/grey-ish color. It is the Eiffel tower base. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! I will try to take a photograph to post as well if it's needed.

sounds real to me. If it has the Herman Miller U imprint that is for sure a real shell. If the base is old you can be pretty sure that it is an original Eiffel base and not a newer Modernica made eiffel base on a vintage shell.
