Monolito (Monolith)

Monolito. The concept and design for this free-standing, home office folding unit is mainly inspired by the multi-functional qualities of traditional Shaker furniture. Attached to two lateral cylindrical hinges, four rotating bookcases fold into a central secretaire body, hiding the workstation. When completely closed, Monolito becomes a solid and monolithic presence that can function as a room divider.
