910 Santa Fe Drive, Denver

Please join us this Friday, June 9, for New Architecture for Denver Museums featuring Scott Anderson, Development Director for the Museum of Contemporary Art|Denver and Dan Kohl, Director of Design for the Denver Art Museum. Each will share a presentation about how his institution's programmatic focus impacted the museum's ultimate design.

As a collecting and exhibiting institution, the Denver Art Museum differs from the Museum of Contemporary Art, which functions as a kunsthalle featuring travelling exhibitions but not building a permanent collection of its own. Find out what this means to the buildings' ultimate designs, and how the resulting architecture will enliven Denver's cityscape.
