MILE HI-RISE STYLE

Posted by Craig Mayer at April 11. 2006

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that there is a fantastic remodeled corner unit available in Cherry Creek Tower - Denver's prototypical modernist residential high-rise. Its calm and serene interior is framed by eight-foot clear glass walls with eastern and southern exposure giving the space a brilliant clarity. Old walls enclosing the kitchen have been removed creating an expansive loft-like floor plan. Sleek modular IKEA cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and sealed concrete floors reinforce its stylish modern aesthetic. Outside, the unit has a large private sunny patio with direct access to the rooftop pool and landscaped gardens.

Cherry Creek Tower was designed in 1962 by prominent Texas architects Carl Groos and O’Neil Frank. Reminiscent of the Lever House in New York City, its aluminum and glass exterior give it an amazing sense of airiness. The building overlooks the waters of Cherry Creek and is just steps from the best shopping and entertainment district in the city.
