Where to buy mod furniture in Denver?

Posted by Ted Pokrywka at March 09. 2010

I found my MCM home, and am closing next week.  Now comes the furnishings.  Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for furniture and fixtures?  Affordability is definitely a consideration.  I definitely want to go modern with the furnishings, and they don't necessarily have to stay true to the era in which the house was built, but rather enhance the mod elements of the architecture.  Thanks.

I've at least stopped in the following: http://www.modlivin.com/ Mod Livin' on Colfax. Good mixture of vintage and new. Mid to High end. http://www.dwr.com/ Design Within Reach. High end price and quality wise. http://www.zmodern.com/ Zeitgeist. High end. http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/ Room & Board. Mid to high. http://www.westelm.com/ West Elm. Mid to high. Have not visited the following, but might be worth the visit, especially for price: http://www.leealexdecor.com/ http://www.yelp.com/biz/nines-denver http://www.yelp.com/biz/home-again-furniture-denver http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-red-door-denver Some more resources: http://www.denvermodernism.com/index.html Denver Modernism Show. http://www.modernindenver.com/index.php Modern in Denver Magazine. http://www.atomic-ranch.com/resources/advertisers.php Atomic Ranch Magazine. And as always, Craigslist!
