Mid-Century Modern house for sale

Posted by Jerry Steinbrink at March 08. 2006

We own a beautiful, 1953 California modern ranch on two acres in Willistown Township. We need to relocate, and we're about to put our house on the market.

The house is 1800 sq. ft., with 14 x 6 beams, open floor plan, walls of windows and a great vibe. Three bedrooms, two baths (redone to a very high standard), two fireplaces, 20' x 20' open kitchen/dining area with Thermador cooktop and wall ovens, and the coolest living room (23' x 14') you'll ever entertain in (although most people don't make it out of the kitchen). Two-car attached garage (with beams, too, so you could expand here).

The land is gently sloped and wooded, with a small stream running through it. There's a new patio across the back of the house, perfect for warm-weather parties.

We're going to put it on the market for $480,000, but we'd let it go for slightly less if we didn't have to list it and we could settle quickly.

Let me know if you'd like more information.

This sounds like a beautiful home.  Have you finally sold it?  If not please post pictures.  Sounds great.
