Use this thread to post links or contact information for local resources. Builders, suppliers, furniture and light fixtures, realestate, and lenders - the whole deal! Check the archived resource topic too.

Actually I am wondering if anyone has used the Sustainable Design Resource Center up in Manyunk (sp.?)? Their website is:

OK I tried to use the Sustainable Design Resource Center up in Manyunk (sp.?) but they were useless. It's a room with a few bookshelves holding green material samples like bamboo flooring and sheetrock.

If you actually want to build a green building and have questions you are out of luck. It seems like there are a lot of organizations that promote green building but they do not actually help in practice. There must be some kind of easy grant money to form this sort of organization and it's too much work for them to actually help anyone.

two thumbs down :(
