DelValMod organizing Spring '06 meeting

Well fellow DelValModders - the time has come to organize our next meeting. I thought this time we should treat ourselves to some kind of speaker or guest rather than just getting together purely to socialize. At least that's my thought and I'd like to hear what you think about it. Also ideas for where to meet and any thoughts about a date are also welcome.
I'd be happy to host a gathering at my office in merchantville. Not as nice as some of the coffee shops we've been going to but we could grab a couple of pizzas from the place next door if you want.
I thought about trying to contact the small design/builders Onion Flats and see if one of them will come and tell us about what they are doing. Does that sound like it would be interesting?
i'm up for a june meeting and a speaker sounds great. if i come up with any ideas worth mentioning, i'll let you know.
K and I would love to hear those Onion Flats guys speak... they just completed that Rag Flats project in our neighborhood, the first off-the-grid zero-energy development in Philadelphia. Their stuff is pretty interesting.
Also, we'd love to check out your office! If the two could be combined that would be great... if not, we're game to travel anywhere!

I've been too busy!
One of the kids in my daughters dance class lives in the Rag Flats. It's tonight so if their parents are there I will talk to them about it. They know the guys from Onion Flats and one of them lives in one of the units too. I'll see if I can't make contact that way - better than a cold call.
