Once the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts is completed, Dallas will be the only city in the world that has four buildings designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winners. One contiguous block adjacent to the anticipated Woodall Rogers Park are the Nasher Sculpture Center designed by Renzo Piano, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center by I.M. Pei, the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House by Lord Foster and Rem Koolhaas’ Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. DWR will celebrate this with an evening of discussion with Bill Lively, president and CEO of the Dallas Center of Performing Arts, John R. Lane, The Eugene McDermott Director, Dallas Museum of Art and Lionel Morrison, architect of One Arts Plaza, will share information about his recent project for Billingsley Co. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres by Scott Jones from the much anticipated Screen Door restaurant.
