I'm currently living in Marina del Rey, CA but we plan to be moving BACK to Dallas soon. I'd say, near years end. I'm actively looking at house options there and have a couple of Q's if anyone can spare a minute or two.
1. Besides Kessler Park is there any other concentrated areas of MCMs in the Dallas area? I'd love to stay within 635.
2. Has anyone seen what's happening over at Urban Reserve? I'm curious as to what's going on over there. I have not seen any pics nor have I seen much on the development. I have checked out the site. I'm intrigued but that may be as far as I get into that. Does anyone know anyone building over there?
Thanks so much for any info yopu may have.

As far as concentrated areas of MCMs in Dallas area, my experience was that there were a number of MCMs in and around Dallas, but nothing that I would consider in concentrated areas. We started our search about 2 years ago and found more MCMs than I would have first thought, however they were spread out around the metroplex. For us, we found some scattered throughout Lakewood area, North Dallas (inside 635), and Oak Cliff. Over an 8-10 month search we just couldn't find the right combination of location (we wanted to be inside of Northwest Hwy), true MCM, and completeness (we didn't want to refurb).
That is what led us to Kessler Woods...We've now been living here for about 7 months and continue to be thrilled about the house and the overall project. With three houses complete and another 8-10 in different stages of construction, the development is really taking form.
Phase 2 of the project is well under way and I think they expect to get the infrastructure (road, utilities, etc) completed in the next month or so.
Hope that helps,
Steven
