Does anybody know the specifics on Modern Prefab here in Dallas? Is it possible to get them installed, or are there codes against that type of construction within the city limits? I am intersted in building one of the SideBreeze homes that are mentioned here on this site, but am unsure if it is even legal. Any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks so much.

It is legal. There is no BAN on prefab in Dallas as it pertains to building for personal use or for more capitalist endeavours. However the City did forbid pre-fabs being built on City owned land donated to developers for low to moderate income housing. that is as far as it goes.
