Any good home tours coming up?

For some reason, home tours are not well publicized. If you hear of one coming up, please post the information here so LM memebers can find out about it and attend. Thanks, -The management

I agree, let us know if you have a public tour of a modern home, wherever it is. You can also add details to an event page which we'll promote on LiveModern.

The White Rock Home Tour is April 19 & 20, featuring modren and contemporary homes in East Dallas. I believe it is sponsored as a fundraiser for the arts program at Hexter Elementary school.

This, I believe, is the 3rd year they've held this tour. Fans of modernism will not be disappointed.

Last year they included the underground home on Buckner south of Ferguson.

There was recentlya request for homes to show on this very forum. See Catherine Wolff's post on December 14.  There you can find her e-mail for more info.

I am a co-chair of a modern home tour slated for November 8-9 here in Dallas.  We have just started the publicity for the tour and it should be a really good one this year.  There will be nine homes by some really great architects - Russell Buchanan, Dan Shipley, Vincent Snyder, Bodron + Fruit, dsgn, to name a few.  We are updating the website as information has come in for the homes.  We hope to have a sneak peek of some of the homes on the website soon!

That Bodron + Fruit house was was awesome as well as the Abbott Townhomes CCM did on Abbott and the Kessler Woods houses.

Someone convince Russell Buchanan to please make his house staircases 4 feet wide - not 3 feet.
