Looking for Architect - urgent

Posted by Dana Killion at January 06. 2005

Can anyone refer me to an architect who might be available to finish up a gut remodeling of a South Loop lof ? At this point it's a small project, mostly CAD work (design is done) and help with permits, but need to have it done very quickly. Just had to fire the architect who's been handling the project. We've been working with someone for over a year now, have drawings that have been at 95% for 6 months, a contractor who's been ready to go for 6 months, and still no final drawings, no permits started, and no confidence that the originating architect can get it done before '06. Don't want to loose my contractor.

Thanks! Any leads appreciated.

email me - I may be able to direct you to somebody, but I can't speak for them, I don't know that they will take the work. Nobody likes to pick-up somebody else's work, especially not at 95%.

Copy your post into your email so I recognize it.

Thanks Greg. Yes it's a challenge to get involved mid-stream but I've got 2 people in early conversations. Thanks for the offer.
