I really love the Petrie sofa from Crate Barrel. But I want it in microfiber and they want $1000 more to custom order it in microfiber. Ouch!

Can any of you point me in the direction of what stores to visit that would sell simular style sofas. Or stores that you think are worth visiting at all.
Thanks,
Dan
Try Modernica. It is on Franklin Street. Take the brown line to Merchandise mart and then head north.
The area also has a bunch of modern furniture stores in the area and some great art galleries as well. One of my favorite areas of the city. There is a few nice modern buildings going up, so even if you don't find the sofa you like, you can enjoy the afternoon in the area.
Come on people!
Archibell,
Thanks for the reply. Can you give me some names and maybe addresses of some of the stores downtown.
Orange Skin - 223 W Erie
of course there is also the design within reach store @ 1574 N Kingsbury.
The Stitch store is nice, but is small. Blend of furniture, fabrics, and personal and home accessories. they'll probably have one sofa in there and that is it.
Poliform - 445 N Franklin
Modernica - 555 N Franklin
