There is a couple that built a home in Louisville a couple of years back, I think their name was Wyatt. I did a brief search in my old issues, but could not find the exact issue. Does anyone else remember this couple? It would be nice to see how they are doing. As I remember, they had a great many problems with the city and neighbors.
Yes, I know of the Wyatt family and am familiar with the many problems they unforunately had with the neighborhood. Are there any others out there? BTW, Mrs. Wyatt died in an accident about a year ago.
If you would like to start a forum for Louisville then you should email Marshall - You will have more luck catching the attention of others if you have a Loiusville forum.
I grew up in Lousville, and a couple years back I looked into building a modern prefab house in Louisville..but because of circumstances (aka $) I wasn't able to.
Now I live in a condo in the Higlands, saving my pennies til that one day I'm able to build.
I have looked at the flatpack house http://www.flatpakhouse.com/ ...looks interesting
I'm HERE! Live outside of the Shelbyville area, work in Frankfort. These older true moderns ARE here, but they are a hunt. Frankfort is a gem of spectacular archecticture, with even an amazing Frank Lloyd Wright house in SHOWROOM condition that I drove buy for 10 years before I realised what it was. I need to start taking picture. My dream is to buy one of these existing houses. Just found a great one in Shelbyville, too!
I've seen the FLWright house many times on the exterior. Would love to see the inside. Do you know who lives there?? Would be interested in knowing about the Shelbyville modern house....
As I am interested in your Butchertown house! I plan to start taking my camera around with me and start to document these houses. I will post here, or start new blog. Soon, I may contact you on your modern designs. We're nieghbors for crying out loud
 Us central KY guys need to identify the existence and where abouts of these houses. BTW, no, I don't know who lives in the FLWright house, but I did go to an open house of a 50's era house that was on the market. It was awesome, but I wasn't $ready$ at the time. Now it is off the market. Which I like, as I become more and more ready as time goes on.
Drove to your Butchertown site today. Looks like it's going well, but very early in the game. Look foward to watching the progress, and to you replying to your own thread
