Modern North Shore Architects?

Posted by Jen Roberts at August 15. 2006

I would love any and all recommendations -- I'm trying to put an addition on my 1950's split-level in Glenview. I met with a few architects, liked one who was tremendously expensive, liked another who seems casual about things like contracts (which bothers me, I'm a lawyer), and now I'm continuing the hunt. Not looking for someone with a huge website and two offices -- trying to keep this within my budget. But I am looking for someone who uses materials in a creative way, exposing structure, going industrial. Any recommendations?

Thanks!
