Loft conversions - downtown Chicago

Posted by Manuel eMCee at July 03. 2008
Hi. Wanted to check if this forum still was alive. Am a resident of the West Loop, living in an older hard-loft conversion. Am looking for contacts with experience with expanding/ building add-on lofts (office, kitchen, room extensions, etc) within an existing Chicago loft. Experience with conversions in old (1920s or older) buildings is preferred. Any ideas/sources/references here would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure if you've found an architect for your project yet, but my firm (square root architecture + design) specializes in green, modern renovations. If your still looking, check out our website (www.squarerootarch.com) or send me an email @ kate@squarerootarch.com so we can set up a time to meet. If you don't need an architect and your just looking for some advice, i'd be happy to talk with you too. anyhow, best of luck with your renovation!
