Hello,
Wonderful site you have here & love reading all the posts. My husband and I bought a small 1940s home in the high desert of CA around '97.It's in a beautiful area located on an acre of land in a canyon surrounded by tabletop mountains,Joshua trees, clear skies, beautiful sunsets & a million stars at night. We have recently decided we'd like to list it for sale so we can go for our dream of living & cruising on a sailboat. We thought this would be the perfect forum to receive feedback/advice on marketing our property.
We had met the late great Albert Frey a year before his passing.Although he didn't design the style for us,and we could NEVER match his brillance,we did pattern it after his designs & used a lot of his simple building materials & wonderful advice!
My husband is also a tiki carver and I am a painter of tropical "tiki" Hawaiiana. So, if you take a look at our place you can see both influences of Mid Century Modern/Albert Frey and Tiki/Hawaiiana.
Take a look and please give us honest feedback, thoughts and questions about our place. We appreciate it!Thanks,Anne

*Note*These pics show a fraction of our home. For instance, the interior shots are all in one room, with the exception of the porthole in our girl's bedroom. All the furnishings, electronics etc. will be included. Also, our fixed up Mod/50's trailer: http://www.tikibycc.com/id12.html
