Finding modern in the Bay Area?

How does one go about finding modern houses for sale in the Bay Area ... short of looking at every listing?

Thank you for your responses.:zz:

I have a friend who is a real estate agent who has modern design as one of her focuses. you can see her website at www.carriemcalister.com, which has her contact information.

She is pretty well versed in modern design and was one of the agents for a nice modern multi-unit project that was just finished in Berkeley....

Another option is to find a home with non-historic design elements, maybe one that needs some vision, and do some remodeling work to give it a more modern appearance and layout. There are quite a few post-war homes in the Bay Area that do not have any particular details or elements that would prohibit a fairly radical overhaul (from a planning department's point of view, at least).

We actually did the design work for a remodel in Moraga a few years ago that was a fairly non-descript two story home that we transformed into a modern loft-like interior....you'd never guess from the exterior (see the larsen residence under interiors at ellipsisad.com), as an example....

Beginning this Wednesday my website www.MarinModern.com will be up and running and you can see all listins in Marin that are modern. There are 1745 Eichlers out here and lots of other MCM homes...not to mention the custom ones. Please feel free to view at any time!
