The White Rock Home Tour presented by Advocate Magazines features mid-century modern homes near White Rock Lake, in Dallas TX. Held on Earth Day weekend, the event also features a "green" home. 2009 marks the event's fourth year.

Proceeds will benefit Hexter Elementary School, a Blue Ribbon nominee. Past years' proceeds helped afford a full-time art teacher, purchase kiln, musical instruments, and new playground equipment. This year's proceeds will benefit campus improvements deemed most critical by the school and PTA.
Architects and their descendents will hold "meet and greets" in some of the homes, to provide the architectural back-stories of these structures.
This popular event will take place April 25 & 26, noon to 5 p.m.
Tickets are just $10 in advance, or $15 at the door.
