Nine local dwellings—ranging from one on a street noted as “the most beautiful street in Texas” to another organically tucked alongside White Rock Trail - open their doors to visitors Nov. 8 and 9 for the Dallas chapter of the American Institute of Architects’ second annual Tour of Homes.
Each designed by a Texas architect, the homes range from elegant to smartly compact. Tickets may be purchased in advance at $25 per person at the AIA Dallas Tour of Homes web site, www.hometourdallas.com, or by calling the AIA Dallas office at 214.742.3242.

Proceeds from the 2008 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes benefit the new Dallas Center for Architecture, a public exhibit, event and learning space for the general public, as well as the new home of AIA Dallas at 1909 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Suite 100, directly across from the Dallas Arts District.
