Mid-Century Modern In Your Backyard
Author and project designer Pierluigi Serraino will share the latest finding on his ongoing research on Mid-Century Modern in California. The emphasis will be on the Bay Area architecture in relation to the themes discussed in his book NorCalMod: Icons of Northern California Modernism (Chronicle Books, 2006). Pierluigi is the other of several books, among others Modernism Rediscovered (Taschen, 2000), which has reached its second reprint. The lecture will be followed with a wine and cheese reception and book signing.
