EcoSteel® Multi-Family Solutions
Editorial Rating:
When you’re building a multi-unit or multi-story building, steel is the clear choice for maximum safety against fire hazards, extreme weather conditions and earthquakes. Our panelized prefab systems are also perfect for “infill” projects where the necessary staging of crew, equipment and material deliveries is limited.
EcoSteel eliminates many of the subcontractors typically required to
finish exterior rooftops and walls. Our interior light-gauge stud walls
and floor framing are pre-punched in exacting detail for the easy
installation of interior wiring and mechanical runs. Our insulated
steel exterior panels are factory finished and precut with precise
tolerances, virtually eliminating job site waste and drastically
improving completion times and energy efficiency of a tight building envelope.
The Forj Lofts, Rehoboth Beach, DE
The Forj Lofts is a minimalistic/Scandinavian design. Residing on
the Atlantic coast of Delaware, the project is engineered for extreme
wind loads. The Forj name is a play on words for an Iron Forge, as
there is nothing but steel used for the building components. Limited
staging areas for material and crew mandated a carefully executed
shipment and assembly program.
