Cases of infections from a bacteria described as flesh-eating seem to be increasing in Australia. The bacteria Mycobacterium ulcerans gives Buruli ulcers, non-healing sores that slowly grow bigger. The ulcers are a huge health issue in West Africa, and now Australia has been seeing more cases. Scientists aren't quite sure how humans get infected - but possums or mosquitoes are two suspicions.
