Located near Bab Ksour, a few minutes from Djam El Fn'a Square in Marrakesh, the Riad Dixneuf la Ksor was designed by the same team behind the famous L'Heure Bleue in Essaoira. The French proprietors aimed to create a hotel that "marries traditional architecture and modernity." Among the details we admire: the marble bathrooms; the pool tiled in a mosaic of brown, black, white tiles; and the handmade furniture throughout the interior. Go to Riad Dixneuf la Ksor for more information. N.B.: This post is an update; the original story ran on August 30, 2010.
