NOMA Architects preserved the garage’s original 65-square-meter footprint, but added a combined library, kitchen, and workspace. The garage’s former gabled roofline was swapped for a sawtooth roof clad in vertical strips of timber and punctuated by irregularly sized windows. An earthy palette comprising natural and untreated materials—such as wood, stone, and concrete—dominate the design.
