Created as the “landmark in [the] overall plan,” the Flower Building comprises four towers that appear to telescope upwards, with each staggered floor increasing in size to create solar shading. The top level of all four towers is merged together into the shape of a four-petaled flower with a cutout in the middle that allows light to pass through to the central courtyard.
