Architect and designer Morie Nishimura’s magical Hinged Brass Mirrors have an equally compelling name—A Quiet Celebration. Spotted at Tent during London Design Week, they reminded us of butterflies about to take flight. Above: The mirrors reflect their surroundings and change with the angle of the hinges—artistic as well as functional. Above: Brass lovers will appreciate the patina on the exterior face of the mirrors. Above: "Tools have meaning for us, and the relationship we have with them defines the way we live," Nishimura says. For more information, see Nishimura Ishou Architecture and Artwork . Above: Sofie Lachaert's winged mirror appears to float on the wall of the bathroom. N.B. As far as we're concerned, no home can have too many mirrors. See 1360 images of Wall Mirrors in our Gallery of rooms and spaces.
