Architect John Eifler explained to me in a recent email that the house incorporates a variety of design elements from residences in the surrounding Lakeshore Historic District and combined it with sustainable, healthy LEED-based technologies. The 5 bedroom, 4500 sq. ft. home is solar powered, geothermal heated/cooled, and all electric (with an electric charger in the garage) making this house one that looks forward, respects the present, and nods to the past at the same time. It's a Midwestern house made for our climate and Principles. Definitely PrairieMod. Check out more info on the home here.
