The design doesn't aim to mimic the architecture of the surrounding buildings, but tries to embody the spirit of the place. Four levels of living spaces are framed by two board-framed concrete walls that stretch from the public sidewalk into the site and the private service access area. A multi-level circulation gallery hall flows through the house and the site, establishing a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces.
