Grim built the 22-foot home with the help of her carpenter friend Rudy Hexler and an apprentice named Lenny in 2015. The tiny house sits quietly in the wooded Pacific Northwest and took only six months and USD $38,500 to complete. A curved porch made from removable 8’ by 8’ pallets is partially covered by a plexiglas awning to keep the rain out and the sunshine pouring in.
