As the rivers in the Chicagoland area spilled over their banks this last week, Modern Architecture lovers waited with angst to see whether or not Mies van der Rohe's steel and glass masterpiece, the Farnsworth House (1951) in Plano, IL would succumb to flooding once again. According to the house's website and Lee Bey's blog, it seems like the stilted home's interior may have dodged a bullet this time. I won't rest too easy until...
