I recently picked up a rare brochure called "Color and Protection" which was produced by the American Asphalt Paint Co. for the 1933 "Century of Progress" World's Fair in Chicago. It's a printing tour de force, featuring several metallic and other beautiful bright colors on every page as the Fair and its buildings are graphically represented for the reader. Its importance (beyond being a technical work of printing art) is that it shows us how colorful the Fair was—thanks to designer and color-guru Joseph Urban.
