Design Idea: A Vintage Cheeseboard Wall
Average Rating: ( 0 votes)
Here's an ingenious way to repurpose cheeseboards (should you have some on hand): create a board wall. On a recent stay in London, I swung by Retrouvious, the city's go-to architectural salvage store, and spotted a wall made from boards. It turned out the boards were originally used for aging cheese. Nailed into the wall vertically, the boards add a rustic note to the room. Above: A wall clad in pine cheeseboards. Above: A Pine Cheeseboard ; £35 each from Retrouvious (L). Scour local salvage stores for similar boards. Recycled scaffolding boards offer a different patina but would work just as well (see post Recycled Scaffolding Boards) .
