E.E. Roberts Tops The Charts

The Chicago Tribune reports that Oak Park's highest recorded home sale since 2008 is not an architectural masterpiece by hometown boy, Frank Lloyd Wright--but a home by one of his Prairie era contemporaries, E.E. Roberts. The Benjamin Porter Horton residence (1913), which actually has more Arts & Crafts overtones than Prairie, recently sold for a whopping $1.98 million.
