Abandoned 1920s bank is transformed into a luxurious coworking space

Built in 1928, the heritage building has sat empty since the Royal Bank of Canada abandoned it in 2010. Montreal-born startup Crew Collective saw an opportunity in the glamorous building and hired architect Henri Cleinge to carefully remake the former bank into a 12,000-square-meter space that includes the startup’s headquarters, a cafe, and co-working space.
