It's already being called the iPod of thermostats: the Nest Learning Thermostat . Invented by former iPod chief Tony Fadell, the new-age thermostat automatically adjusts your home’s heating and cooling based on your behavior (it even comes with a motion sensor, so that when nobody is at home it goes into "away" mode). The Nest Learning Thermostat is available for $249 at the company's online store. Above: The Nest has a pleasingly retro shape based on the circular thermostats of yore. Above: The Nest's circular surround is made of brushed stainless steel.
