A new project by architecture firm Swisatec will break ground soon in Cape Town, South Africa, where the firm plans to build a self-contained, luxury "Green Village" that is the first of its kind on the entire continent. Taking up approximately 40 hectares of land, the village will contain 1,000 apartment units, as well as all the amenities its residents need to conduct their daily business, including doctors' offices, boutiques, schools, and more.
