Thanks to Nelson Brackin of the Friends of Kebyar group for sending news of a rare earthquake in Okalahoma on October 13, 2010. The epicenter was centered about six miles east of Norman, OK with a magnitude registering about 4.3 to 4.5 on the Richter scale. Because of its proximity, there was concern raised for the Bruce Goff-designed Bavinger House, but initial reports indicate that everything there is fine. Read more about this rare event...
