We first dropped in on up-and-coming vegetarian chef, stylist, and cookbook author Anna Jones a year ago; since then, she's come out with a new cookbook and solidified her standing as the UK's "next Nigella." All from a humble kitchen in East London, proof that you don't need a lavishly appointed kitchen to create cookbook-worthy meals. Photography by Jonathan Gooch for Remodelista. Above: Jones at work; "My cookbooks were shot in this kitchen" she says. "We chased the best light as it changed throughout the day." Above: The L-shaped kitchen is simple and functional; for more on this kitchen layout style, see Remodeling 101: The L-Shaped Kitchen . Instead of cabinet pulls, the plywood kitchen cabinets and drawers from Russell Bamber Works feature cutouts (see more ideas at 10 Favorites: Cutout Kitchen Cabinet Pulls ). "I love the cutout handles," Anna says. "They're such a simple and clean little design tweak.
