You don’t need to be a writer to fall in love with Black Box, a compact writing studio perched in the hills of Los Angeles. Local firm Aaron Neubert Architects designed the minimal studio to serve as an office for a technology author and columnist. Elevated atop a steep slope in the Franklin Hills neighborhood, the timber-and-steel structure is faced with a large window framing panoramic views of Griffith Park and its iconic Observatory.
