Much like the last group of photos Ward shared, these images provide invaluable information about how the Park Ridge Studio looked prior to its reconfiguration to a gift shop in the late 1960s. These photos, however, provide an even more amazing view of Iannelli actually working on several large sculpture and mural projects. Additionally there is a shot of the sculptures he's working on in place after they were finished.

It's another example of why the Studio building in Park Ridge must be saved and restored. Having the building turned into a cultural center will allow further study and appreciation of the unique individuals and the amazing Modernist work they produced.

PLEASE visit the Kalo Foundation website and make a donation (which will be matched!) to help save this amazing historic site. Make your donations here.
