Thanks to a Navy test site, America’s first wave-produced electricity has been fed into Hawaii's power grid. A floating platform in Kaneohe Bay on Oahu is tethered to the seafloor with cables that move under force from the ocean’s natural motion. Those cables turn wheels on a generator that produce a virtually endless supply of electricity, without any fossil fuels, emissions, or other negative side effects.
